Governance

The overall direction and control of the RCM is managed by its Board, who ensure the organisation is efficient, effective, properly managed, supervised and accountable. The President is the RCM’s ceremonial figurehead and one of the RCM’s two principal ambassadors, the other being the Chief Executive, who leads RCM's staff and the midwifery profession in the UK.
